- you didnt need a chip to make early sportsters act like a 16.8 dual
- standard all you needed was a init string.. and there is no chip
- to upgrade 14.4s to 28.8s except a daughtercard which costs around
- $199 , which is still availiable, but only works on newer square led
- type courier modems, and not sportsters
